Itinerary

Day 1 – 26th May: Arrive in Moscow. Transfer to the hotel by car/van (no guide).

Day 2 – 27th May: Breakfast at hotel
Excursion of the city with stops at the most famous sights: Poklonnaya Hill, New Maiden Convent, Vorobievy Hills. Drive by Tverskaya street, Manezhnaya square, Ohotny Riad, Bolshoy theatre, Lubianka square, Savior Cathedral, the Kremlin and Kropotkinskaya embankments etc (no entrances) Walk along Old Arbat street. Metro (subway) tour.

Day 3 – 28th May: Breakfast at hotel
Excursion to the Kremlin: the heart of Moscow. Visit cathedrals. The Kremlin has always been the centre of political life. The tsars’ coronation ceremony took place in one of the cathedrals. All tsars before Peter the Great are buried there. Excursion to Armory Chamber that has a collection of applied art, crowns and tsars’ jewellery are on display there. Walk on Red square, visit GUM department store, the Alexandrovsky Garden and shopping centre on the Manezh square.
Evening: Transfer to the train station. Take train to St. Petersburg

Day 4 – 29th May: Breakfast at café upon arrival (not included into the costs) 8:00: Arrive in St. Petersburg
Excursion of the city with stops at the mostly famous sights: spit of the Basil Island, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Palace Square, Сhurch of the Saviour on the Spilled Blood, the Aurora, and other. Drive by Nevsky prospect, the Neva embankments. Visit St. Isaac’s Cathedral - the largest Orthodox church in the city beautifully decorated with mosaics, semi-precious stones, paintings, sculptures. Excursion to St. Peter and Paul fortress: the 1st construction of the city and the burial place of all the tsars starting from Peter the Great.
After excursion: Check in at hotel

Day 5 – 30th May: Breakfast at hotel
Morning: Excursion to Pushkin to visit Catherine's Palace with the famous Amber Room. Catherine’s Palace was founded in 1718 as a summer residence of Russian empresses. It was reconstructed several times in the XVIII-XIX centuries and now we can see interiors in baroque, classical and rococo styles. During the World War II the palace was occupied and very badly damaged. Some rooms were restored quite recently. Among them is the famous Amber Room.

Afternoon: Excursion to the world's famous art museum Hermitage. Founded by Catherine the Great the museum occupies 5 buildings and has among the other a famous collection of Western-European Art that includes paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Rubens, Van Dyke, French Impressionists. Winter Palace is a part of the Hermitage.

Day 6 – 31st May: Breakfast at hotel
Visit Peterhof- the fountain capital of the world and the oldest summer residence of the Russian tsars built on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. Excursion around the Low Park with survey of the fountain cascades. There are more than 100 fountains decorated with bronze and gilded or marble sculptures. Visit Grand Palace Low Park does not operate in the period from October till May! Overnight train from St Petersburg to Moscow.

Day 7 – 01st June: Arrive Moscow and transfer to the airport for flight back to USA.

  • Passport & POE charges not included
  • Room / Cabin Upgrades and Complimentary are not included unless specifically mentioned.
  • Early Check In / Check Out is not included and is subject to availability. In case the same is required it will be at an additional cost.
  • Quote does not include mineral water; alcohol in room, at meals, during transfers and on sightseeing is not necessarily included in the cost. As you are aware most of the countries charge for mineral water and in case it is needed on transfers & sightseeing an additional it will have to be paid for in addition to the tour price.
  • All Hotels do not have tea/coffee making facility in room. It differs hotel to hotel & city to city
  • Late sitting in a restaurant for meals is totally subject to the terms & conditions of the hotel / restaurant used. It will be requested but cannot be guaranteed.
  • We are not holding any reservations for the above group. Confirmation is subject to availability on clients preferred dates, failing which there will be a supplement cost. Alternative dates will be provided on which the same price can be maintained.
  • Prices are subject to change with any increase in the costs.
  • If passengers do not arrive or depart with the group, additional charges will be incurred.
  • Should the group arrive during a trade fair/festival or high demand period, we reserve the right to amend the prices accordingly or offer an alternative location.
